The Muskingum Family is offering a variety of youth and adult programs beginning February 22nd

Program registration due date for all programs is Saturday, February 20th
(excluding volleyball and swim lessons)

YOUTH SPORTS PROGRAMS OFFERED:

  Mighty Mite Indoor Soccer for ages 4-5
Learn fundamentals of soccer and play games.
Tuesdays, 6:00-6:50pm
Located at OUZ/Littick Hall gymnasium
Cost: $25 for members and $40 for other
7 week program, begins Tuesday, February 23

Sports of all Sorts for ages 6-7
Each week a different sport is offered.  Sports offered include; basketball,
baseball, volleyball, floor hockey, soccer, football and fitness games.
Wednesdays, 6:00-6:50pm
Located at Coburn United Methodist Church
Cost: $25 for members, $30 for Coburn members and $40 for other
7 week program, begins Wednesday, February 24

Instructional Baseball for ages 8-11
Tuesdays, 7:00-8:00pm
Located at OUZ/Littick Hall gymnasium
Cost: $25 for members and $40 for other
7 week program, begins Tuesday, February 23

  Gra-Y Volleyball Leagues for grades 4-8
Divisions 4-6 & 7-8
Each team will practice during the week (TBA)
Practice times will be at 5:45pm and 6:45pm
Practices will be held at Coburn United Methodist Church
Games will be held on Saturdays at OUZ/Littick Hall gymnasium
Games will be played between 9:00am-12:00pm
League runs from March 13-April 17
Registration due date is Saturday, February 27th
Cost:  $40 per player 

Tumbling for ages 4-9
Learn basic tumbling and gymnastics.
Wednesdays, 6:00-6:40pm-Beginners ages 4-5
                         6:45-7:20pm-Beginners ages 6-9
Saturdays, 9:00-9:40am-Beginners ages 4-5
                     9:45-10:25am-Beginners ages 6-9
                   10:30-11:10am-Intermediate ages 6-9
Located at OUZ/Littick Hall Aerobics Room
Cost: $15 for members and $30 for other
7 week program, begins Wednesday, February 24 and Saturday, February 27

Martial Arts for ages 4 and up
Participants will learn basic fundamentals of Tae Kwon Do.
Mondays, 7:00-7:30pm-ages 4-7
                     7:35-8:30pm-ages 8 and up
Located at OUZ/Littick Hall Aerobics Room
Cost: $15 for members and $30 for other
7 week program, begins Monday, February 22

Swim Lessons for all ages
Session 1: March 8th- April 1st
Registration Deadline is Wednesday February 24th
Group will be M/W and T/TH 4-5:30PM
Private lessons will be Monday through Thursday 3pm-4pm
4:00pm class will be Pre- Polliwog (intermediate) no more than 5
4:30pm class will be Polliwog (Advance) no more than 5
5:00pm class will be Pike (beginners) no more than 4 in this class

Session 2:  April 5th- April 29th
Registration Deadline is Wednesday March 31st
Group Lessons will be M/W and T/TH 4:30-7:00pm
Private lessons will be Monday through Thursday 3:00-4:30pm
4:30pm Pre-Polliwog (intermediate)
5:00pm Polliwog (Advanced)
5:30pm Pike (beginners)
6:00pm Pike (beginners)
6:30pm Pre-Polliwog (intermediate)

Cost for group lessons: $45 for members and $65 for other

Home School Program for ages 12 & up
Students will participate in group exercise programs such as Yoga, Pilates, Step Aerobics and more.
Also, introduction to the weight room and fitness center, fitness games and team building activities.
Fridays, 1:30-2:30pm
Located at OUZ/Littick Hall Fitness Center
Cost: $28 for 1 child
          $42 for more than 1 child
Register by February 20
7 week program, begins Friday, February 26

ADULT PROGRAMS OFFERED:

RESIST A BALL Resist a Ball is a low impact muscle strengthening body challenge.
This class is perfect for all body types and skill levels.
Challenge your body, retrain weaker muscles and build a healthier and more balanced body.
WHEN:                              Mondays, 5:15-5:45pm
WHERE:                            LITT 108 Aerobics Room
INSTRUCTOR:                   Megyen Green
COST:                                FREE to all current OUZ/Zane State students/employees and YMCA members
                                          $5.00 drop in fee for non-members

  CIRCUIT FITNESS Circuit fitness is a combination of using cardio machines along with weights.
WHEN:                              Mondays, 5:45-6:45pm
WHERE:                             LITT 108 Fitness Center
INSTRUCTOR:                   Megyen Green
COST:                                FREE to all current OUZ/Zane State students/employees and YMCA members
                                           $5.00 drop in fee for non-members

STRENGTH TRAININGThis course will teach the basic fundamentals of strength training.
Build strength and endurance along with learning different exercises and techniques.
WHEN:                               Mondays, 5:45-6:45pm
WHERE:                             LITT 108 Fitness Center
INSTRUCTOR:                   Brian Cottrell
COST:                                 $21.00 per session for members & $35.00 per session for non-members
                                            *7 classes are in a session
                                            $5.00 drop in fee for members & non-members

STEP AEROBICS   Come and join us is our NEW step aerobics class for beginner and intermediate levels.
WHEN:                              Wednesdays, 5:15-5:45pm

COST:                                FREE to all current OUZ/Zane State students/employees and YMCA members

BOOT CAMPBoot Camp is mixing high intensity bursts of exercise with moderate intensity recovery periods.
Boot Camp includes cardio, strength and flexibility.

COST:                                FREE to all current OUZ/Zane State students/employees and YMCA members

YOGA Yoga is designed to center the self, stretch and strengthen the body and calm the mind.
Strength training, cardiovascular conditioning and flexibility are combined using traditional yoga postures.
WHEN:                              Thursdays, 7:00-8:00pm
WHERE:                            LITT 108 Aerobics Room
INSTRUCTOR:                   Megyen Green
COST:                                $21.00 per session for members & $35.00 per session for non-members
