Welcoming Adoring Transforming Equipping Reaching Serving

Welcoming
- Helping to develop ways we can welcome and involve people in the life of
Coburn Church. This involves greeting, ushering, the Andrew Ministry,
hosting the Welcome Center, integrating new people into the life of our
church family.
Adoring
- Helping our church family express worship and adoration of our Lord. This
involves worship, decorating our church for holidays, music, the arts and
other enhancements.
Transforming
- Helping persons discover what it means to be a disciple of Christ Jesus.
This involves Disciple Bible Study, Emmaus, Chryallis, new Christian
training, Alpha, etc.
Equipping
- Helping persons to discover their talents, abilities, passions and gifts
and how to use those for God. This involves Sunday School, Disciple Bible
Study, Youth, Splash and other avenues of helping people know how to serve.
Reaching
- Helping persons invite people to Christ Jesus. This involves evangelism,
witnessing and teaching people how to share their faith.
Serving
- Helping persons discover avenues of mission and ministry. This involves
mission trips, social justice, LifeWell, in-home communion, Shut-In
visitation and other ways to help others discover the love of Christ Jesus.
It also involves administrative functions of the church as Trustees,
Finance, Staff/Parish Relations, etc.
